Illustrative screen built on synthetic data

Who it is for

Built for risk and surveillance dashboards

Broker dealing desks

Live exposure by instrument, client group and book, with the limits beside it.

Prop firm risk teams

Accounts near their limits, unusual patterns across accounts and the evidence for every action.

Compliance and surveillance analysts

Alerts from your surveillance system, with the market data around them, at any zoom.

What you get

Features for both sides of the screen

01

Risk monitoring

  • Exposure viewsNet and gross exposure by instrument and client group, updated as positions change.
  • Limit trackingUsage against each limit, with alerts before a limit is reached.
  • ConcentrationClients, accounts or strategies that move together, shown as they form.
  • Scenario viewsWhat exposure looks like if a price moves by an amount you choose.

02

Surveillance visualisation

  • Alert contextEvery alert opened with the orders, trades and market data around it.
  • Tick-level chartsZoom from a whole session to microseconds without the chart stalling.
  • Cross-venue viewsThe same instrument on several venues, side by side.
  • Case recordsWhat the analyst saw and decided, kept with the alert.

How analysts use it

From alert to decision

Surveillance systems raise alerts. Analysts decide. The software in between should make that decision quick and well evidenced.
  1. 1

    Alert arrives

From your surveillance engine or rule set, with a severity and a reason.

  2. 2

    Context loads

Orders, trades and market data for the window around the alert, on one screen.

  3. 3

    Analyst decides

Close, escalate or investigate, with notes and evidence saved together.

Why tick level

What bar charts hide

Risk and surveillance questions are often about sequence: what happened first. Bars aggregate that away.
Order sequence
Whether a large order arrived before or after a price move is invisible on a one-minute bar.
Intrabar extremes
A limit breached for two seconds inside a bar still counts.
Cross-venue timing
Prices on two venues compared at the millisecond, not the minute.
Latency
Delays between systems, which only show when timestamps keep their full precision.

Why AlchmAI

Why trading firms choose a specialist

100m ticks a day

Charted for a surveillance desk.

Nanosecond zoom

From a session to microseconds.

Decision records

Notes and evidence kept with every alert.

Your engines, our screens

We visualise; your systems decide.

Micro front ends

Desks ship independently.

Proven at scale

70%+ less routine monitoring work.

Selected work, global investment bank, trading floor

A charting engine for trade surveillance: hundreds of millions of ticks a day, views down to the nanosecond

If a bank's surveillance desk can chart every tick of a session in a browser, a broker's clients can have charts that do not stutter, lose drawings or disagree with the statement. The same engineering applies, at a fraction of the data volume.

How we engage

It starts with a two-week Platform Review

Every engagement starts with a two-week Platform Review. We take read-only access to your charts, data feeds and any AI feature, test them against what your clients actually see, and hand you a findings report, a costed plan and, where it helps, a working prototype. Fixed price, agreed before we start, and credited in full against a build that begins within 60 days. The report is yours whichever way you go.
  1. 1. Weeks 1 to 2

    Platform Review

Read-only access. Findings report, costed plan and a prototype where it helps. You sign off the baseline we will measure against.

  2. 2. Weeks 3 to 8

    Build, in fortnightly releases

Working software every two weeks on an environment you can use. Any AI wording is agreed with your compliance lead before a client sees it.

  3. 3. Go-live

    Evidenced release

A runbook, an evidence file your compliance lead can read in one sitting, and an off switch for every AI feature.

  4. 4. Day 90

    Results check

What changed, measured against the baseline you signed at the review.

Questions

Risk and surveillance dashboards: common questions

Do you write the surveillance rules?

We build the screens, data pipelines and workflow around your surveillance engine or rule set. Which behaviours to monitor is a decision for your compliance team.

Can it work with our existing surveillance vendor?

Usually, by reading its alerts and data through an API or export and adding the context and visualisation around them.

How much data can the charts handle?

The engine our founder built handled hundreds of millions of ticks a day per view, with zoom to nanosecond resolution. Most brokers and prop firms need a fraction of that.

Does this replace our risk system?

No. It shows what your risk system knows, faster and with better context. Limits and decisions stay where they are.

Show us the screen your risk team works around.

We will show you how it would look with tick-level data and the context beside it.
